Landscape Gallery - Montana,Wyoming,North Dakota : Welcome to my landscape gallery recently taken in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, the Black Hills of South Dakota Camera used was the Nikon D200 and a Nikon 18-70mm lens. ISO settings was between 100-400 ASA, and Picture Quality set to RAW plus Normal. Picture control varied from natural to vivid mode.

He was in the men's pack at mile 7 but ran away for the next 19 miles and win on a solo tour of America's finest city. He also finish third at the Boston Marathon. El Boumlili grew up in Morocco and worked for the army before coming to America to take up training in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He plans to defend his title next year. Women's Race -Yuliya Gromova - # 101, Russia - Clock Timer : 2:27:37 That is 2 hours, 27 minutes, 37 seconds Russian runner Gromova defends her Rock 'n' Roll Crown. She also won $ 25,000. Gromova who turned 35 on May 21, hopes to return a third straight year to defend her title. Of the top 24 runners clocking in under 3 hours most of them are European or African. Nikon Coolpix 5700 Photography - 2009 : This is my new Nikon Coolpix 5700 Photo Gallery. I recently got this camera mint from another collector in San Diego. The 5700 is a 5.0 megapixel camera that has a focal range of 35mm to 280mm. With the Nikon wide Angle Adapter it will shoot down to 28mm . It takes both TIFF and RAw files. It can easily print 11 x 14 color prints nicely under the proper lighting conditions. The .8x Nikon Wide Angle Lens ( real glass ) and the adapter gives it the ability to shoot macro ( it does already anyway ) and makes the camera setup a little heavy . I like it that way as shooting with point-n-shoots that are really light makes it vulnerable to camera shake. The Coolpix 5700 doesn't have image stabilization unlike the newer cameras. New York Fall/Winter 2008 Pics - Canon 30D : Guys.These are pictures I took of New York City during Fall/Winter 2008. I shot with a Canon 30DmCanon 28-135mm IS lens and the Canon 18-55mm Kit lens. A lot of the night and interior scenes are shot at 800 or 1600 ISO. You can shoot some amazing pictures even during rainy weather.Just bring a big umbrella and plastic sheets to protect your camera.

Fall Pictures In Baltimore ,Maryland 2008 : Here are the fall pictures I recently took in Baltimore,Maryland with a Canon 30D and Canon 28-135mm IS Lens. The other images are shot with a Nikon D50 and 18-55mm Kit lens. Some images are unretouched and most are retouched with Photoshop CS2. The Canon was set to Adobe RGB Color Profile while the Nikon D50 was set to sRGB ( ideal for most web ready photos ). Portraits by Elle : To my students....These are samples of some of the hundreds of portraits I have shot through the years for friends and clients. I have taken thousands of frames on 35mm color and b/w film. Plus shooting thousands of frames on digital.. As much as I like the ease and efficiency of digital, I still prefer film. With film you get more serious with each frame with shoot. Film gets expensive so you have to make sure each exposure counts. With film you are assured of continuity and capturing the action. With digital, you can get into the bad habit of checking exposure and composition constantly. It disrupts the creative process. Guys, make it a habit of shooting continuously and with positive momentum until you feel the shoot is over and done with. Control your portrait sessions with your subjects by not allowing anyone to see the digital images until the whole shoot is over.

Las Vegas Photo Documentary : Here are some pics of my last trip to Las Vegas over Xmas 2007. Lots of changes since my last visit three years ago. Fremont Experience hasn't change much and it still looks run down. A lot of new Casino projects on the strip. I had three days left before heading back to San Diego on the Anaheim bus shuttle. Brooklyn Heights - A Photo Documentary : Brooklyn Heights - These are the latest pics I shot with Nikon Coolpix 5700 shot in color and converted to B/W in I-Photo. The Nikon Coolpix 5700 is a great travelling camera. I shot these images Sept 16, 2007 the same day I arrive at JFK Airport from San Diego. Brooklyn Heights in an awesome neighborhood ( pretty expensive ) but this is where my sister has been the living the last 10 years. Its a very compact neighborhood. One thing great about New York is the convenience. Everything is within walking distance ( or subway ) for that matter unlike California where you have to drive a few miles just to buy a six-pack.This is what makes me come back to New York time and again.
